About

Camille Wilson-Spencer is a photographer and a historian of art, architecture, defence, and intelligence. Born in Minneapolis, she studied extensively in Russia, France, and the UK while completing courses at University College London (UCL) and the University of Minnesota. Camille graduated with a bachelor’s degree in global studies and Russian in 2014 and has worked as a photographer in the US, UK, Mexico, and China.

In 2022, Camille completed a master’s degree in building history at the University of Cambridge. She is currently conducting doctoral research at the University of St Andrews School of Art History.

Camille is a member of the Paul Mellon Centre's network for Emerging Researchers in British Art (ERBA) and actively involved with INTBAU, The Georgian Group, and the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain (SAHGB).

Camille is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, a member of the Women’s Intelligence Network (WIN), and a regular attendee of the Cambridge Intelligence Seminar.
